We loved the 'Ask you Nanna' feature in the last issue of Frankie Magazine. Shot at a local Nursing Home, Frankie asked these glorious grannies what they'd tell their younger selves.
Ieva Laguna and Tony Ward by Will Davidson for Russh. Sexy, summery and super innovative, Stevie Dance delivers no less than perfection for the june/july edition (her first as editor!) of Russh.
and the absolutely bloody amazing so jealous we didn't come up with this shot...
We feel like bottling up all our deepest loves and secrets and sending them across the seas! It's a theme we've been noticing lately...from some old Selby pics of the Ksubi showroom, to Matt Corby's Letters video clip, to some ad on the tv...
And speaking of Matt Corby, we've just rediscovered him in all his smouldering eye'd glory years after his Australia Idol teenage debut. Loving the new direction...he sounds a bit like our favourite lone ranger Bon Iver...only better, because he's a surfer boy with beautiful eyes. Obviously.
The new fragrance by Moschino coming out in June, shot by photographer legends Inez and Vinoodh, and starring our favorite Australian model Alexandra Agoston.
In love with teenage photographer Nirrimi's photographic journal/ blog. Young and carefree, we're just as in awe of her talent as we are her recent achievments- she's just been flown to New York by Diesel to shoot a feature for them. Did we mention she's 17??
Shot by Nick Knight, this is the new Kate Moss for Topshop video, featuring ah...Kate Moss. Love the atmosphere, and the song! It's called Be Brave by The Strange Boys.
Depressed that the Vampire Weekend show had sold out, you can imagine our excitement when we got the call to say we'd scored some last minute tickets! These boys from New York have such a unique sound, borrowing from reggae in a way no one else is doing in mainstream music. Their music is fun to dance to, but also fun to relax to. We discovered them a few years ago when trawling through YouTube and came across this fun clip. It's so quirky and upbeat, you can't help but smile. Watch it below:
The show last night was pretty relaxed. They had a simple set- just them on stage with a few chandeliers hanging overhead. The best part was the enlarged album cover (which we love! There's something about that picture...) that came to life through lights replacing the girls pupils and flashing like crazy.
We love how, even seriously stylish Chanel, loosens up when on holidays. Or at least, when they're pretending to be. The cruise collection show in St Tropez was cool, casual, and oh so seventies French Riviera. Arriving on iconic Rivas, models walked down the street instead of a catwalk, and the front row consisted of clustered red cafe tables. Mostly, we love how they threw an afternoon bowls party. Fun AND chic, is there anything better? We adore Garance Dore's photo's of the event.
Touched by Youth by Collier Schorr for Dazed & Confused. This shoot is like a scrapbook of youthful experimentation. We love the sense of curiosity and mystery created by the collage style.
