a vampire weekend
Depressed that the Vampire Weekend show had sold out, you can imagine our excitement when we got the call to say we'd scored some last minute tickets! These boys from New York have such a unique sound, borrowing from reggae in a way no one else is doing in mainstream music. Their music is fun to dance to, but also fun to relax to. We discovered them a few years ago when trawling through YouTube and came across this fun clip. It's so quirky and upbeat, you can't help but smile. Watch it below:video: youtube
The show last night was pretty relaxed. They had a simple set- just them on stage with a few chandeliers hanging overhead. The best part was the enlarged album cover (which we love! There's something about that picture...) that came to life through lights replacing the girls pupils and flashing like crazy.
