Trendland have taken the street style concept to a new level. Video. It's like following around nicely dressed New Yorkers for five minutes. Delightful.
We just stumbled across this little style blog by OTOMAYIM B DIPPER. It has some great style shots, at different angles to give a more well rounded view of your favourite new yorkers.
Does it get any better than LOVEWANT #3 (the brainchild of fashion photographer Bec Parsons and stylist Imogen Barron) featuring Zippora Seven and Bambi Northwood-Blyth? Probably not.
We love it when high HIGH fashion meets the streets. And that's what you get when you mix a haute couture regular with an iconic surf brand. It's Agoston meets Roxy, and it's all about California cool.
Yvan Rodic sure has an eye for the weird and the wonderful. Here are some recent snaps from his trip to Buenos Aires. We especially like the furry booties!
Loving these candid style shots on the Purple Diary blog by Olivier Zahm.
Dirk Standen, editor in chief of style.com, recently interview Zahm for 'The Future of Fashion' series. It's a really interesting interview, talking about new mediums of fashion such as online magazines and blogs. Zahm is suprisingly quite anti internet fashion, despite his success with Purple Diary. He feels he is yet to see a creative exploration of the medium, but does recognise that "the internet is a medium for interaction. It's a medium for contact". Read the full interview here.
We promised Ksubi shoe pics. Sorry they are yet to come! So in the mean time, lets look at their RAFW show which finished off the week. A ten year anniversary, and a rebirth of sorts for the label, the collection was...a little underwhelming? That said, they are a street label so it should be fun and edgy. We just thought it was a little trailer park (why trucker hats on the models?) mixed with a little denim-on-denim Chloe style. Regardless, as a show, it looked amazing. It's obvious a large amount of work and production went into producing the event, from the rotating lights and MASSIVE space, to the thumping sound track and cheeky 'thankyou' notes. They lived streamed the show through Harpers Bazaar and Style Bubble. Take a look here.
